    Tony Nader, M.D., Ph.D., MARR, is a medical doctor trained at Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Ph.D. in neuroscience), and a globally recognised Vedic scholar.

    As Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s successor, Dr. Nader is head of the international Transcendental Meditation®️ organizations in over 100 countries. He guides the practical applications of this consciousness-based technology in all areas of national life–education, health, business, defense, agriculture, and more.

    Dr. Nader’s vision is to bring happiness, health, and peace to the minds and hearts of the whole world family. His experiences as a teacher, father, leader, scientist, and doctor have inspired his dedication and commitment to opening everyone’s awareness to the important things in life, from a truly profound perspective. To help remove conflicts in society, so that higher values and beautiful goals become the guiding light of everyone, is his total focus.

  • Dr. Fred Travis

    Dr. Travis received his Masters and PhD in Psychology from Maharishi University of Management in 1988. He had a two-year post-doctoral position at UC Davis and the VA Medical Center in Martinez, CA with Dr. Irwin Feinberg exploring brain changes during sleep.

    At the conclusion of his post-doctoral position in 1990, he returned to Maharishi University of Management to direct research at the Center for Brain, Consciousness and Cognition. Since 1990, he has authored 57 papers and conference presentations that investigated the relation between natural development and lifestyle choices on brain functioning.

    His recent work has reported brain patterns of world class performers—athletes, top-level managers, and professional musicians. He has also investigated effects of TM practice on ADHD in children and Post Traumatic Stress.

    Miriam Lodge brings a wealth of knowledge teaching human development programs at McKinsey & Company, and as a career coach, Consciousness Advisor and Transcendental Meditation teacher.

    She is co-CEO of Maharishi Foundation Technologies, which offers the SuperHabits series and a number of other programs focused on developing the full potential of the individual. She is also a co-author of “SuperHabits For Success.”

    Miriam graduated top of her class with her MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and Magna Cum Laude and Cum Laude from her Bachelors and Masters in Business Engineering from KuLeuven.

    She has a deep passion for helping people reach their highest potential by combining habit change with the highest knowledge of consciousness and making the world a better place for her 3 children

    Ted Wallace is a behavioral change expert who combines his knowledge on the power of positive habits with years of experience working with Fortune 250 companies to drive personal, team, and cultural change.

    He is passionate about helping people change habits as a powerful foundation for a happy and healthy life.

    Ted has authored a number of books with his father, Dr. Keith Wallace, including “SuperHabits For Success” combining his habit change expertise with their vast knowledge of Ayurveda.

    He is currently an Agile Coach, a registered corporate coach (RCC), and works with some of the largest companies in the US.

  • Karen Aoki Kouider

    Karen Aoki Kouider, PhD, is a Lead Faculty Fellow at the Center for Executive Education, a fellowship with the Dr. Tony Nader Institute at Maharishi International University, where she develops the online Transcendental Meditation teacher training course.

    She holds master’s and doctoral degrees in Maharishi Vedic Science from MIU, with research on the therapeutic effects of reciting 36 branches of Vedic literature in Sanskrit alongside Transcendental Meditation and the TM-Sidhi program.

    A certified instructor of the Transcendental Meditation technique and Maharishi Yoga Asana, she specializes in integrating these practices into Consciousness-Based Education and Consciousness-Based-training programs.

They will help you prioritize what habits you would like to change and will guide you step-by-step through our unique approach, working from the inside out to cultivate the habits you want and create the life you deserve.

Who is this retreat for?
Anyone who wants more clarity, focus, and the tools to cultivate meaningful habits. This retreat isn’t just about learning—it’s about resetting and revitalizing your body and mind. No prior experience is necessary, either with yoga, meditation or habit change. (hence feel free to invite your family and friends to join as well - everyone is welcome)

Do I need to prepare anything?
Just bring an open mind and a willingness to explore new ideas. We recommend a yoga mat or a blanket and a quiet space for participation.

Will there be a lunch break?
Yes! We’ll take a 1hr 15 min lunch break about halfway through (11 am PT, 1pm CT, 2pm ET), so it’s a good idea to have your meal ready in advance – whether it’s prepped in a slow cooker, delivered, or something quick and easy to prepare. For optimal digestion, we recommend taking a short walk before or after your meal.
